Blind Flange Lockout

Utilising a blind on flanged pipelines is a recognised way of creating a barrier to reduce risk of flammable gas, oil, steam and chemicals leaking through whilst working on the pipeline downstream.

Gardus® Blind Flange Lockouts fully conceal the flange bolt, preventing other workers from accessing or removing the blind. This significantly reduces the risk to your workforce during maintenance is in progress.

Once you have applied this Lockout to the blind flange, the four locking holes allow multiple workers to lock out the device. The Blind Flange Lockout can also be used in conjunction with a lockout hasp to accommodate further locks.

The incorporated ratchet mechanism enables this lockout to be used on multiple flange applications and varying sizes.
